Frank Ramirez
Pastor, author, playwright, lyricist, Frank Ramirez is one of the most popular and prolific contemporary Church of the Brethren writers. A free lance writer who has published over 20 books and 600 articles, he has also written plays, Sunday School curricula, and appears in Messenger, Upper Room, Brethren Life & Thought, and other publications. Frank is married to the long-suffering Jennie, has three children, and is currently pastor of the Everett Church of the Brethren, Everett, PA. (An hour away from Steve, thank God!)
Steve Engle
Ventriloquist, composer, author, Steve Engle's musical works include: I See A New World Coming (Beyond a Dying Sun) in the Brethren's "blue" hymnal and several other hymnals and songbooks, as well as many other songs and anthems. Full-scale musicals are: SAINT JUDAS PASSION, RUMORS OF ANGELS, a cantata "A CHRISTMAS PATCHWORK," and most recently, ANGELS EVERYWHERE co-authored with Frank Ramirez. Steve is married to the former Joan Parsons, and lives amid puppets, dummies, Boyd's Bears, a pile of digital recording equipment, and a dog. The couple reside in the village of Alexandria, PA, near Huntingdon, (where Joan works in accounting at Juniata College,) and across a big hill from Penn State University. (An hour away from Frank, thank God!)
Donna McKee Rhodes
Donna Rhodes is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren. For twelve years she served as Pastor of Nurture at Stone Church of the Brethren, Huntingdon, PA. Besides the "Little Children" series, she is also the author of the Christian Education curriculum: Jubilee and Guide for Biblical Studies. Donna presently serves as Dean of Certificate and Continuing Education Programs for the Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center of the Bethany Theological Seminary, where she coordinates a ministry education program for adults exploring ministry. She lives in Huntingdon with her husband, Loren, and their three children, Erica, Aaron and Joel.
Leland Wilson
Leland Wilson, now camped out in retirement on the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, is married to Patricia Botterell, and they are trying to be active grandparents. He has served as pastor of churches in Kansas, California, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, and as a denominational staff person. He has authored five books, and contributed to others. For more than five decades, he has pursued an interest in Will Rogers, and has the largest private collection of materials related to Rogers.
